01 What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the White Metrics mobile application and related services provided by Robert Stanislaw Stachowicz (the “Service Provider”). It explains how privacy is handled when you use features such as metrics, favorites, article tracking, filters, and reading-status tools.
02 No account & no personal-data collection
White Metrics does not require registration or sign-in. The Service Provider does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contact lists, advertising identifiers, or similar personal information through normal app use.
03 Your app content
Article titles, links, notes, reading status, favorites, metric preferences, and similar content you create in the app are not transmitted to or stored on the Service Provider’s servers. If the app keeps such content on your device for functionality, it remains local to that device.
04 Analytics, advertising & third parties
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, or analytics services to profile your activity. Because we do not collect app-use data, we do not sell or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
05 Links and network access
White Metrics may let you save or open web links. When you choose to open an external website, that site or your browser may process information under its own privacy policy. White Metrics does not receive that website’s data on behalf of the Service Provider.
06 Data Retention
The Service Provider does not retain personal data from White Metrics on external servers because the app does not collect or upload that data. Therefore, there is no server-side personal-data retention period. Any content stored locally by the app remains under your control on your device and can be removed by you.
No server-side retention
07 Data Deletion
Since the Service Provider does not keep your White Metrics data on its servers, there is normally no remote account or server record to delete. You can remove locally stored app content using available delete or clear controls in the app, or remove the app and its local storage from your device. If you separately contact the Service Provider and voluntarily provide information by email, you may request deletion of that correspondence.
You control local deletion
08 Device permissions
White Metrics does not need precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or external file access for its core privacy model unless a future feature clearly asks for such access. Any optional operating-system permission is controlled through your device settings.
09 Children’s privacy
White Metrics is not directed to children under 13, or to a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Because the app does not collect personal information through normal use, the Service Provider does not knowingly build profiles about children.
10 Security
The privacy design minimizes exposure by avoiding server-side collection of personal data. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should still protect access to your device and keep its operating system up to date.
11 Policy updates
This policy may be revised if White Metrics changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and publishing the revised policy where it is made available to users.
